“Delicious Foods...Nice Service...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Before our group took our orders i talked with the supervisor about the different reviews that i have read and she said some of it were true and that was before the new management...thanks for her integrity. And so we said, well that remains to be seen and tasted... and wow all the foods that we ordered were all spectacular both in taste and presentation... with their baby squid in olive oil, fried tilapia, crispy pata and stuffed squid etc... so yummy and the price? yeah it's a bit expensive compared to golden cowrie or hukad... we paid more that P10,000 for the 16 of us.

“Tasty Pork Can't Wait to Get Back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

I enjoyed the crispy pork boneless pata, and appreciate that this cut is mostly meat, not fat!
Asparagus tips were tender.
All presentations are well done, and reasonably priced.
And if you sit on the veranda in front, you have a nice view of Ayala Terraces, without being bothered by passers-by.
Everything in Ayala closes by 10pm or so.

“Excellent modern filipino food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Try the BBQ sampler, you won't be disappointed. Also the stir-fried mix veggies was one of the best I've ever had. Great restaurant!

“Don't bother!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Having previously dined at Mesa's SM Southmall and Greenbelt 5 branches, we decided to give their Terraces Ayala Center Cebu branch a try on our previous visit to Cebu. And boy were we disappointed!

We should have taken the waiters' uneasiness as a sign of things to come. We ordered rice, kare-kare, grilled fish and mango shake. It took several follow ups before the mango shake arrived, which was bland and watery. My wife and son went to a nearby drugstore to buy some medicine and they were surprised that none of our food has arrived after 30+ minutes.

When the kare-kare finally arrived it was a big disappointment - gooey, starchy mush which was bland as well, nothing the excellent bagoong can save. I asked the waiter how long our grilled fish will take and he advised me that they were having problems with the kitchen since there's not enough cooks who reported for duty.

After several tries to speak with the manager, he finally made it to our table and I did no mince any words expressing how disappointed we were with the food and the service. It's a disgrace to the whole Mesa family if this restaurant will be allowed to continue operating. Long story short, I told the manager I am not paying for anything to which he agreed.

“Good food, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Had dinner at Mesa. Good choices and reasonably priced. Must try the Tilapia rolls, baked clams, fried boneless catfish and the laing rice. Service was good, good ambiance, wasn't noisy all at during our time there.
