You get to walk around one of the top floors of the Crown Regency Hotel, kept from imminent death by nothing but two cords carabiner-ed to your back and what seems to be a cookie cooling sheet! What more can one ask for in a sky walk?
In all seriousness, I've been on this twice now, once in 2010 and once just this week and it's awesome. We had Genesis the guide both times and he is as perky and full of stories as always, obviously the best person suited for the job (three years of walking around the same building and he's still happy and smiley!). Cebu's landscape has changed quite a bit as well. For one thing Crown Regency itself now has a zipline and is planning on opening another one as well as a cable car in the next few years. The sky is going to get awfully crowded. Also, a huge reclamation area has been taken out by SM for a mall that dwarfs MOA. That was definitely clearly seen from the walk.
The only bad thing is that to actually get to the 19th floor is quite a challenge if you haven't been there before. In addition, the elevators and corridors are hot, and cramped. We went at 4pm on a Thursday so it wasn't too bad, but at peak hours I'd imagine it to be horrible. So for people who plan to go, best go at non-peak hours unless you desperately, desperately want the Cebu night lights as a background for your souvenir photos.
