We enjoyed our visit in this very colorful, lively old house in the historic district of Cebu. The house is very old, and the furniture and items in this house are also all antique. The items are not locked up but left out to be admired better by visitors.

This is a privately owned residence. They decorated the place with lots of antiques. The dining room table was set with nice, old china, among others. They have a collection of antique statues of saints made of wood. The guide seemed knowledgeable of the place. Very interesting place to see.

Just around the corner from the Casa Gorordo Museum, the Yap Sandiego House is a real surprise. It looks like an overstuffed antique shop, full of fascinating furniture, objects, paintings, and a pretty little garden out back. The staff is really friendly and you are allowed to take photos.Apparently the owners still live there from time to time. This is a fun place to stop and visit, but do it early in the day, as the light is very dim in the late afternoon.
