again writing a review from a perspective of a mother with 2 young kids. there is just so much to do here that we all felt (especially our 4 year old) that an overnight stay is too short.
we booked a Camella room, it's good for 4 adults and arrived just in time for check in at 2pm. Check in was quick and we were asked to book meals ahead of time.
the room was sufficient. nothing impressive except that it was SPACIOUS it had 4 single beds that we pushed together to make 1 (gigantic) bed. a couple of concerns though,
i would have preferred and slept better if we had 2 king sized beds as opposed to the singles since the kids sleep in our bed too but that is not an option here. room size is ideal for families with teenagers as it can still accommodate 2 more extra beds. but for families with young children, a king sized bed would really, really be appreciated. I barely slept as I felt so uncomfortable and at some point in the evening, i got really sweaty. there's no AC btw. they rely on the cold mountain weather to keep guests cool.
the t&b was spacious as well with hot and cold shower and strong water pressure. you'd have to bring your toiletries though. they only provide tiny rectangles of soap and 4 sachets of shampoo.
so why give it 4 stars? because the dinner buffet was very good. the filipino fare served was delicious ( fried chicken, pancit sotanghon, siomai and bistek tagalog) plus, there was a salad bar with freshly picked tomatoes, carrots and lettuce. all for only P350 per person.
also, there's so much to do. for the kids there's the play ground and horse back riding and for the more adventurous, the indiana jones and more extreme zip line. the tour is also worth mentioning as we had the most photo ops there.
i think there's more to do here but we just did not have enough time. we will definitely be going back to find out.
