“Supervisor Call!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

We were very disappointed at this restaurant, our order took 1 hour before it came to us. we were already eating and tried to order for an extra rice, the extra rice came after an hour, after several follow ups, we asked the waiter who served us that we need to talk to their supervisor and this waiter pretended to be the supervisor. We look for another waiter and asked if that guy is the supervisor but the other waiter told us no. He called the real supervisor, the supervisor apologized and offered us freebies, we told them that we were from manila and went to tarlac just to eat there but we were disappointed about the service that they gave us. We dont need your freebies we have money to pay for what we ordered.

“Good food, great atmosphere, terrible administration.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Service ranged from excellent to non-existent. Chefs cooked a lot of the food on charcoal grills and propone stoves near the tables. Waiters tried to bring food quickly, but this is not a fast food place, so have some patience. Drink orders were very slow on the night we went. We waited 30 minutes after asking for our check. One of our party had an artificial knee and an artificial hip. Very tired of sitting on an uncomfortable bench, he had to get up and walk toward the car with others or us assisting, while another of our party fought to get the check. At this point, the waiter decided that they suddenly no longer took credit cards, despite the fact that they did so recently.

Handicap access is extremely limited. You may need two able-bodied assistants to help each handicapped patron over floating walkways covered with large bamboo logs. The atmosphere is very scenic, service is better when they are less crowded, but bring lots of patience and help for anyone who is mobility limited.

“overrated restaurant”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

we went to the isdaan on our way back to manila. after ordering the food, had a look around the place and found it not well maintained i.e., restrooms, fishponds and faucets not working properly.while finishing our meal, noticed two rats underneath the cooking grill. service was slow , you have to ask for everything like condiments and tissue napkin which should have been made available in the first place and the food considering its price was only average. overall the place was not tidy, used plates were still on the table for a long time before being cleaned by their crew, food being cooked where people were walking and food being left in the same area without anybody looking after it. iced cubes left on the floor which if your not careful you might slip on it. i am not a picky person but for this kind of restaurant you would expect good service and quality of food.last but not the least, the glass of water served had a toothpick inside it. it has made provisions for kids to be entertained but they should improve on the quality of their food and the cleanliness as its a food business in the first place.

“Eat out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This Resort Restaurant is a very nice place to visit especially one with very young kids. Surely kids will enjoy the many characters within the Restaurant Area. The foods are also good with reasonable costs. There are entertainers and sing a songs in one's table but need to give tip as a token of appreciation. There are variety of free shows at the center of the Restaurant to entertain guests that provide added attraction. The place is a good place for every body and good place also to treat guests for a change.

“"A great place to eat and relax".”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

I've been to Isdaan about five times but I never get tired of going there whenever I have friends to entertain and it never fails to amaze them. It's about one and a half hour trip from our place but I don't mind because of the great things they offer to cutomers. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of Filipino cuisine to choose from. I especially liked Chicken Tinupig, roasted chicken marinated in coconut milk; Sinigang sa Buho with a choice of shrimp, beef or pork; Pinakbet and many others. I also loved their fresh fruit juices. And while you're eating, there are singers who will serenade you, you can even request for a song you may want them to sing. It is also a great place for taking pictures, there are just so many spots to take pictures of like the big statues of monkeys and fish, the huge golden buddhas where one might think that like it was taken in Thailand when it's actually in the Philippines. You can feed the koi, you can throw out ceramic plates or mugs to release your anger, the kids can go biking, you can watch their singers and dancers perform or just look around the place as there are just too many things to see. This is really a place where you won't mind coming back again and again as the place is being continuously developed so there's always something new to see the next time you go there.
