I have stayed at the Richmonde many times, and always go back, to use as a Base in Manila. Rooms are excellent, even though the curtains could do with cleaning, and a coat of paint is also necessary.

Staff and Management are very helpful and accommodating, I have never had a problem!

Loved the place (2 bedroom suite), big bathroom and nice master bedroom. Loved the breakfast buffet especially the "taho".

Stayed there for over a week. Our room had ants. The elevators were very, very, small. No air-conditioning in hallways or elevators. Got overcharged for the internet (multiple days) even though I used it only once. The internet charge was supposed to be removed from my bill but was billed anyways. Pool is indoors and muggy. The location is good, close to Mega-mall and Shangri-la but crossing the street to get there can be tricky. Free breakfast buffet was too local for my tastes, not enough western dishes. Staff was friendly.

Good location if you like to shop, hotel is near the Mega Mall and Shangrila mall. English speaking staff and very helpful we arrived very early in the morning and they let us check in early for small fee. Confortable room and indoor heated pool.

Really nice hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff, nice little coffee bar in lobby, and nice rooms with great internet access. Very close to many really nice restaurants. I like the place a lot, and would stay again.

The ONLY think I didn't like....They post deals available only to locals in the lifts...at prices far less than available on the internet. In addtion, if a local just calls, you can also get cheap rates..

Tip: Book the Richmonde as part of a Philippine Airlines swing around tour package, and the hotel is nearly free.

  • Disliked — Much lower rates were available to locals as part of weekend packages, etc.
