“Old hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Checked-in on a Sunday afternoon and counter was full of people checking out. We were looking for a separate counter for Priority Club Rewards members but the system didn't seem to work. Room was upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite which was really huge for just 2pax, and rather looked too old. I like the fact that it's connected to the Galleria mall so easy to find whatever you need. Our room overlooks the pool (which is not pretty btw) and we could hear the noise of people in the pool area still. Didn't bother us that much as we stayed for only less than 24hrs.

We stayed for 2 nights en-route to Boracay..it is an excellent well run Hotel with very pleasent staff.

Good size clean rooms and Breakfast was of a very good quality.. well presented ...They even packed us a Breakfast the morning we were leaving very early.

Location ... excellent for shopping as the Hotel is attached to a large Shopping Centre that also has plenty of Restaurants and a good Food Court.

A 10 mins walk away was a very large SM Mall and a $2 Taxi ride will take you to Greenhills for cheap shopping ..Pearls,Handbags,Clothes and Souvenirs etc.

No problem with Free Wifi in the Bar ( Good Happy Hour).

Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

my company had a function and we stay one night. the room is huge with a nice view, especially when i at high floor.

the decor of the hallway from lift to room is very 'authentic' with lining of wooden wall. However it is pretty dark

breakfast is not but not spectacular. the lobby is pretty small and not many place to sit and wait

I traveled there on business. Great location near a big mall so . Manila is not a place to walk by yourself at the evening so if you travel by yourself its a great solution for having dinner.
The room where very comfortable, big with a huge bed. Clean and pleasant.

My husband, son and I stayed there 1 night before flying home. When we arrived, jordan at the front desk offered us water, fruit plate and chairs to sit down on while he gave us restaurant recommendations. We automatically felt taken care of. My husband mentioned it was my birthday and after about 20 minutes in the room, they sent up an amaIng chocolate cake! Boy what I would do to eat that again! The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, bathrooms were very big and updated. I would stay there again!

This is my first time staying here but will only consider coming back to this hotel after the rooms are being renovated. The lobby is nice and bright but I won't say the same for the room. Upon entering my room, I was welcome with dark old curtain and carpet with burnt marks and cigarette smell. The interior was old and shabby, crack lines on tables, sink and bathtub, unstable wifi connection and noisy air condition. The room definitely in need of an upgrade.

Apart from that, the hotel is directly connected to the shopping mall where there are many food options. Breakfast at the hotel was good with a wide variety of choices.

Staffs at the Front Desk are helpful and friendly. One has to double check their bill to make sure that they don't charge anything extra, e.g. Wifi connection.

I've stayed in this hotel many times over the years. It's really going downhill. Previously, one could use a wired internet connection that worked; now you have the option of Wifi ONLY, and it's located in the bedside table. So if you book an executive room, to have a desk in order to work, that's in the other half of the room which get ZERO signal. You can't work at all at the desk (which is where the plugs and lamp are); you can only work sitting on the bed (with no plugs and poor lighting). This makes the hotel no use to me at all in future as I need to be able to work. The rest of the room is tired - the furniture and decorations have not been changed for years; the bathroom was missing amenities (no shower cap, for example). My sugar was not replenished after making some tea on day one - so sloppy servicing of the room. The bed is fine.
Ate dinner in the restaurant one night ... NOBODY else in there at all.. after getting my "curry" which was completely tasteless I realised why. There are other, cheaper and better places to stay in Ortigas - I only stayed here because I'm Platinum and previously got benefits. Now there are almost zero benefits at all (free internet which does not work) so there's just no point.

Room Tip: If you need to work, DON'T choose an executive room if you want to use wifi at the desk
