“Good Hotel near Airport and SM MOA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Very nice hotel and good staff. Hotel is safe and secure and very close to airport and SM Mall of Asia. The pool was being re-tiled during my stay but after it was done it is a nice and relaxing swim for kids and parents.

i wasn't able to explore this hotel because i came in late night and left early morning.
the room was nice and the bed was comfortable...
the only thing that was quite disappointing was when i was at the reception...
maybe because i was just in my casual wear and i admit i looked like a country-boy from the province, staffs are a bit inattentive. well i can't blame them...

Like some other reviewers here, I checked in here with high expectations, part of which stemmed from hearing it was a 5 star (though I was probably expecting 4). Sadly I was quite disappointed. I suppose I could give this 3, maybe if I had wifi, more than 2 tv channels worked (on my 12" knob set), the bed had more than one pillow and and and...

There really is just nothing good here. The lobby has nowhere to sit, but at least the restaurant was pleasant enough with its service, though seems pressure to order "something else sir" is always present. The location is good for mall of asia, but at night the hotel recommended to take a taxi, even a few blocks due to the dangers of the neighborhood. I've heard confirmation that this was wise...

In summary, try "anywhere" else for a better experience for half the price.

I stayed in Marriott airport hotel and Heritage in manila for early flight back to USA.

Pro: 1.. You pay half the price in Heritage than in Marriott for the room.
2..The Heritage will get taxi for you from the hotel to airport and write down the taxi ID number, It cost less than150 PHP, ( about US$3.00 for the ride) vs Marriott will cost you US$20.
3. When you dont have the time to have the free breakfast in Heritage, you ask for the WIFI from the front desk, they will give the free WIFI . You can still have a free continental breakfast and coffee.
4. Take taxi to Mall of Asia to have your dinner, its only cost $2.00 for the taxi ride.

Con: The rooms are less luxurious than Marriott. But if you just stay for one night, that's not that bad.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms on the 8th floor, they are renovated. I had an upgrade to a suite room # 806. Its...

This is certainly no 5 star hotel, and barely a 4 star, but the price is right and the location is better. I've stayed next door at the Copacabana many times and thought we'd try this one. We were pleasantly surprised. We booked the Club Rooms on the 9th floor and included complimentary wired internet.

The hotel is at Roxas and EDSA which is close to MoA (even walking distance) and relatively close to the US Embassy. As well, the airport is but 10 minutes away. There are a few fast food eateries around the corner and a taxi couldn't be easier to find.

I'd stay here anytime.

Room Tip: Go for the Club Rooms

Generally good stay except you need to be aware of potential charges. I asked through agoda whether they provide free transport from the airport but I didn't receive any response. We asked again the day before our arrival regarding transport and they said it was already included in our reservation. We were shocked to see the bill presented had Ps800 for the transport. It wasn't until we asked to see the Duty Manager that they agreed to reverse the payment. It really ruined an otherwise perfect stay. A 5* hotel would be more attentive to details and communicate charges more clearly.

Apart from that, the room was large, clean and cable tv. You can find eateries about 5-10 min walk outside the hotel.

My fiancé found this hotel online which is being advertised as a 5 star hotel in Manila. So we booked this place so it would be easy for us to get a taxi or bus going to Anilao, Batangas by the next day. But all of our excitements of staying in this place were gone when got at the hotel's reception area. The staff were boring and not that so helpful especially when he found out that we're not paying extra for the MINIBAR stuffs. LOL!!! We've been to some luxurious hotels in Manila I.e Shangrila-la, ascott, Marriott and Manila peninsula so far this is the only expensive hotel who asked for down payments for the hotel amenities. By the way our room was paid prior to our arrival and it was some kinda rude of asking us to pay extra for the mini bar. And the worst part since we refused to pay the minibar, the hotel took everything in the fridge at the very moment we got inside the room. I can recommend this place for to its location which is near the Mall of Asia but I guess u can find some other hotels nearby which has a better service.
