First off, I really don't know how to write a review, so I'm just gonna make this simple and it's kind of sharing my experience with this budget hotel. So here are my pros and cons for staying at the Shogun Suites Hotel:
WHAT I LIKED:
(+) Free airport transfer upon arrival
(+) The staff are very friendly and knows very good customer service. I can say they're well-trained.
(+) We booked the mega family room, and it was clean. And we had a good signal of the WiFi in our room.
(+) They have standby vehicles to drive you to the airport for P250.00.
(+) Room Service at 12 midnight (we were starving when we arrived at the hotel, we ordered food and it was good).
(+) Had a rooftop pool at the 8th floor. Good view!
(+) Poolside Grill
(+) Near the airport, MRT/LRT station, MOA and it was accessible if you want to go anywhere
(+) Not bad if you just want to spend the night here --- to sleep!
(+) We were able to sleep just fine, we were so tired anyway from the city's hustle and bustle.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
(-) The hotel only provided 2 complimentary breakfast for 1 day and we were 4 (stayed for 2 days). Breakfast was set to buffet, so we wanted to order food/breakfast for 2, but they don't accept individual orders in their coffee shop/restaurant, instead, they let us pay P150 per head for the buffet for the other 2. The next day, no complimentary meals coverage for the 4 of us, so we were forced to pay P150/head again and only had to eat home-made corn beef again, fried rice & coffee for P150???? Not worth the price. We should have just gone out and had breakfast in the nearby fast food (Chowking, KFC, etc.) --- S, do do that instead!
(-) They only have one (1) power outlet in this mega family room good for 4. At the end of the day, we had to charge our cell phones, digicams, etc... and we were 4! And they had only one outlet!!!! Can you imagine that?! It was terrible! One of us had to stay up late and watch CP #1 if it was done charging so I can plug in to charge CP #2 and so on... There's this one (1) power outlet in the toilet, so we had to bring in one of the CPs to charge it there! Charging in the toilet room.... why not?! just don't get your gadgets wet!
(-) No signal for Sun Cellular in our room. Globe only had 2 bars.
