“Is Ok but needs a renewal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

I think this Go Hotel is the oldest and biggest of all the Hotels of the GO Group . we been there for 3 days but i must say that we are happy when the new ORTIGAS Go will open , even the one in OTIS is much better but a little off the road for us .
On the positive side is the price so i will not blame a lot . You get what you pay for .so but the negative side is that the hotels looks all cold and if there are some guests who likes to talk loud you will wake up all the time . Specially in a country like the Philippines where nobody takes care of the neighbour . Noise d ont exist for Filipinos , so they have no problems to make a lot of noise when they check out early . Nobody cares of all the other guests who are still sleeping ....There is no carpet on the floor so all the outside noise comes in the rooms too .

Go Hotel is Ok for a short night between two flights an if they offer a promo .otherwise the Tune Hotels are much better .

Room Tip: Thereare no good or bad rooms in Go Hotels . all depends on your neighbours and how many kids they h...

The hotel do not boast of luxury but definitely one's stay will surely be comfortable. For a budget hotel stay, Go Hotel can be a choice. I stayed there for 4 days and everything went smooth. From the reception area, we were greeted with courteous staff. I even commend a staff whose name I forgot because of the good service he accorded us. Aside from taking my heavy luggage, he also took extra step to lend me their weighing scale and weigh all my bags, probably anticipating my load allowance in the plane. That, to me, is so kind.

Rooms are clean, sheets/towels are changed upon request. There was also a 'safe' provided in each room for our valuables. Wifi is ok, Service is likewise ok. Good supply of warm water for early morning or late night shower. Clean and spacious bathroom.

A coffee shop is just at the lobby.

Don't get me wrong.. I do appreciate this hotel. It is a 'budget hotel' so our expectations should be as such.

They have small but clean rooms. Most of them do not have windows. Thick walls are around you with no mirrors. You might be bothered if you are claustrophobic. They also have small LCD TVs.

I also frequently stay at budget hotels, like Tune, and with the same rate (around PHP 2000); I have experienced much better amenities. I think windows, big TVs, mirrors really do help a lot.

One good thing about this hotel is its location. It's walking distance from a shopping mall, convenience store and the MRT.

Overall it was a good stay if you're on a budget... Just turn off the lights.

Love this hotel because it's the most affordable I've stayed in metro Manila. Location is a plus because it's beside a mall. Clean and spacious room and a modern bathroom. I just wish they have go hotels all over the key cities in the Philippines.

so i booked this hotel in advance for my trip to visit my SO in manila.
for what i paid for, its not that bad. if you're just going as a single person, or even a couple, it can be nice and cozy for when you're sleeping.
its close by to the mall, taxi pick ups, and the MRT station so public transportation isnt an issue here.
the rooms are clean, cool, and small. however, even at 6'3" i fit comfortably on the bed without any part of me off the bed.
the only downside i can think of is the WiFi is ridiculously bad. i could barely get online to update plans, message people, or even Skype with my family from anywhere in the hotel (even if they say the lobby is the strongest signal, or the router is NEXT to your room).
the shower and bathroom are nice, water is hot, bring (or buy) your own soap because they dont give you much.
i would say for what i paid, its a nice hotel.

Room Tip: get a room with a window, they tend to get stuffy without A/C on

First time to stay here after giving it a try as I need a place just for an overnight stay. At the end of it, I am somehow satisfied with the basic things that it offered. Room is small and minimalist but is very clean. AC works well. Has a number of cable channels selections which I really enjoyed.. they're more than that of some 5* hotels that I have been to. The hotel also has a very convenient location. Robinson (Cybergate) Mall is just adjacent next to it which can easily be reached few steps from the hotel, whilst Edsa Ave. stretch is just right in front where MRT, cabs, and major buses can be taken en route to other nearby destinations. But do note of some hotel rules that need to be adhered upon. Foods are not allowed inside. Has a strict check-in/check-out time that if earlier or beyond that period, extra charges will apply. Staffs are nice and accommodating, though, so just approach them for whatever concerns you may have.

And now for some cons. Though room is very clean, I was bothered by some biting mosquitoes inside. They really are irritants! I found the sink in the bathroom a bit clogged. Hot water seems works well from the tap rather than that from the shower, and weak water pressure coming out of the latter even during very late at night. Free wifi access has a very very weak signal inside the room.. my hp cannot absorb even my own data signal at all. The room I had has no window. Maybe next time I will request for a windowed one beforehand like what some of the reviewers here are suggesting. But overall, no major disappointments and this will become, in fact, my choice of hotel for future short stays in Mandaluyong area.

Room Tip: Request for your preferred room beforehand. Btw, the hotel website has a "twin" bedding a...
