“Affordable yet Comfty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

The room is ok for and it is not that bad for the price I paid. Hey it's a duvet bed compared to other budget hotel near by with the same price BUT using bed sheet alone. The furnishings are sparse inside of the room and even at the lobby.

Parking is not that good enough because it has a charge of P45.00/3hrs + P10.00 succeeding hours but thanks to the Hotel and to its staff for the P100.00 discount for an overnight stay of our car, the front desk attendant explained it well to me (thanks to him). Biggest complaint was the Internet or their free Wi-Fi. Let's just say you get what you pay for here - and the Internet is free. Weak signal, constantly getting booted off, unable to re-connect. Awful.

In short, it was an okay place to stay, especially if you are fairly self-sufficient and don't mind the no-frills experience. Just want to let them know that they need to upgrade or improve their internet since it is also included on their Ad. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with window to have a good view.

Dissapointing stay. We are a family of four and decided to stay here for the night instead of driving home to far flung Novaliches. The reason why i chose this over Tune is because they have a flat iron rented out.

We were very tired after a full-packed day, came from a far and really pressed for time, it's late and we just needed a place to spend the night. Since it's a budget hotel, we are aware of its basic amenities and did not expect any luxuries that comes with usual stays. What really ticked us off is the lack of basic cust service. To start of, the receptionist took too much time checking us in even if I have everything presented, cards, IDs, cash and already filled out forms.

I had them realize the sense of urgency, for us to checkin ASAP - the main reason we decided to checkin the first place. It was almost midnight and at check-in I instructed them that I needed a flat iron right away in the room. I made sure they bring it asap since i still have to get my sleeping kids and overnight things in the car at the basement.

Upon entering our room, no iron inside even if I've paid for its usage plus paying a refundable deposit of P400. I tried using the room's phone to call the lobby and ask but the dial tone fluctuates, that again ate too much time instead of us already sleeping, (must wakeup at 4am)

After a few tries, i was able to call and remind them of the flat iron, to which the attendant replied that we still have to pay for using it and secure a deposit at the lobby, which I've already both settled. Come 5am, my husband had to leave for work at the airport, he was delayed by the parking attendant even if his parking ticket has been validated in the hotel's lobby. Since the parking attendant claimed that it had to be a nine hours stay before it's free. My husband explained that me and the kids are still in the room. But attendant still wouldnt give in and further delayed my husband. He had to go back to the lobby, receptionist had to ask a guard to accompany him back but the guard was just there as display and wasnt able to help, my husband still had to be the one to negotiate. At checkout, i informed the reception area of the parking fee hassle and all they did was smirk and give fake smiles. I higly suggest a re-training for all your staff who of all should be focused and masters of providing excellent customer service.

Also bear in mind that busy people are pressed for time and plus have the sense of urgency, not everyone can afford to wait on you or until you get to know how to do your job.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

the location was rather noisy, because duh, it's edsa. it was also difficult to get a cab, because the area was unsafe for kids to stand by the curb. also had a problem with their rule of not eating in rooms, because kids eat all the time. but overall, the service of the hotel staff was good.

we just had a problem with their transport service - euro transport, which was supposed to pick us up from airport. their rep did not have a signage or banner with the Go Hotel name or the name of the guest so we ended up not finding the rep / driver. when we complained to their desk found in the hotel lobby, the staff were not apologetic, and said we should have looked for their desk in the arrival area. like that was easy to do after 20 hours of travel with kids and luggage. in the end, they did not refund, nor offered to shuttle us (at least) somewhere, like maybe hotel to domestic airport.

Go Hotel should affiliate themselves with better service providers. or better yet, seeing that transportation is crucial to travellers, the hotel should have their own vans for their guests. we dont mind paying, and we dont expect red carpet, but we would love good service after a long plane trip.

My dad and I stayed in this hotel and it was our first time.

The staff was accommodating except for one, whom we asked for assistance for the room safe.
In an establishment such as a hotel, staffs should be friendly and accommodating at all times.

No keycard, no entry policy which makes it safe.

The room was quite okay, it was clean and fully air conditioned, except for the lack of cabinet and bedroom slippers.

The bathroom was a little bit small. No hand bidet!! how in the world?! Limited toiletries. The sink does not drain fast enough.

WiFi does not reach the room so I needed to go to the lobby for any internet transactions.

Overall, I still gave this hotel a 3 star rating for cleanliness, safety and convenience.

Room Tip: avoid rooms from the front side because you will hear everything.

Go Hotels Mandaluyong is the best choice for me when it comes to a budget hotel located in Manila. It is safe and clean. It's location is a plus, you can easily move your way down to edsa and take a cab, MART or a bus. The rooms are clean and neatly done. bathrooms are clean as well. The staff are courteous and nice. The guards are everywhere and you cannot easily get inside the hotel without the keycard or not passing through the guards first. Convenience store is also available so its easy for you to get something if ever you are in need of something to nibble at night. Eating is not allowed inside the room. Wifi access is strong at the lobby but weak inside the room. For me, it is still the best budget hotel in the country, making everyone enjoy travelling by paying less in accommodation. Go hotels makes every juan happy by giving a cheaper price for a wonderful experience at gohotels.ph.

It was my third stay in this hotel and I should say it's still almost the same, but the aircon is not ok, room's warm and not really OK for sleeping anymore. Wifi does not reach our room and we still have to stay outside in the lobby to be able to connect to the internet. Limited toiletries so be sure to bring youR own. OK for a budget hotel, for the pRice you pay, I think it's already a good deal.

It's a budget hotel and true enough it is indeed a budget hotel. No food allowed inside the room otherwise you have to pay penalty charge. Room wall is made of plyboard so you can hear guest talking or the tv. No wifi access inside the room only on the common areas...think about a common areas in a dormitory. It's not fair to expect on this hotel because it is--well--a budget hotel.
