“Lovely museum and excellent dioramas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We liked the Dioramas that depict the history of the Philippines, with guided walkmans to explain each dioramas. The gold museum on the 4th floor with beautiful artifacts of gold and a nice cinema. A must for every traveller!

“Small, but excellent collection. Well worth a visit.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Very attractive building attached to Greenbelt Mall. Great exhibition of gold treasures from pre-colonial Philippines. Definitely worth a visit.

“Well Worth A Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

The Museum is located next to the Greenbelt shopping malls and you enter at the ground floor before taking the lift up and then working your way down again.

A visit is highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn a bit about the country and its history. The gold room alone is stunning! Other great bits include really well done dioramas with audio guides (free) that give you a quick trip through the Philippine's history, a section about famous artists and, at the time of my visit, an exhibition of ancient Chinese pottery and artefacts. Only thing we noticed was that they don't like picture taking inside, so keep that in mind - other than that a good way to spend a few hours & learn something about the beutiful country that is the Philippines.

“World-class museum about Philippines' art & history. Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

This museum - conveniently located next to Greenbelt shopping malls - is a hit in town! Brand new facility, state-of-the-art rooms (including 50+ high-quality dioramas complemented by free audio guides telling the history of the country from pre-history to independence), well-arranged temporary exhibitions make of this museum a jewel in Manila's crown. Absolutely great!
