After arrival from an overseas trip the other night, I suggested that we have dinner at Hap Chan Tea House in Makati. We had beef ball, quail egg siomai, broccoli flower with garlic, crispy fried chicken, diced chicken with salted fish fried rice and green mango shake. As always, Hap Chan did not disappoint. The dishes were all yummy and the servings big. My son remarked that I must love Chinese food because after a week in Hangzhou, I went straight to a Chinese restaurant. But Hap Chan has none of the popular image of greasy MSG-laden food. The prices are also quite reasonable considering the food quality and the location of the restaurant.
