Went to their Cedar Executive Building branch on Pasay Road, which is conveniently located across the street from Raffles Residences. This branch has a Papa John's on the ground floor of the building.
The starting price for their massages is Php 300, which is pretty affordable. Their website says that they have an "early promo" wherein they knock off 50 bucks from the price if you visit between 1-6PM. I was there at 1:15 PM and still got charged the regular rate.
We were warmly greeted by their friendly staff when my husband and I entered the spa. However, the experience quickly turned sour as their staff members continued on with their gossip and laughter even when I had already started with my massage. They were so loud that the mood music they piped in couldn't drown out their voices. The spa itself is very small so my therapist had to shush them as my cubicle was near the front desk where they hung out. To stress on how loud they were, my husband, who accompanied me, waited at their receiving area and decided to catch up on his reading. He only got to two pages of his book as he couldn't concentrate with all the noise the staff were making. They eventually hushed down as other clients started coming in but in the middle of my massage, one of the other therapists fumbled with what sounded like a large bucket and accidentally dropped it, water dipper and all, and it made such a loud, clanging noise. Seriously, how can you relax in this atmosphere?
The only reason why I'm not giving this place a poor rating is because of my awesome masseuse, Sam. She shiatsu-ed the bejesus out of my knots and I walked out of there feeling invigorated. With spas like this cropping up like mushrooms in the metro, it's hard to find a good skilled therapist and I'm really glad I found her.
So overall, would I recommend this place? If your spa needs are pretty straightforward, because of their price range and a therapist like Sam, absolutely. But if you're looking for a mini-retreat, complete with ambiance, I would still recommend that you go to the more upscale spas.
