Having lived in a French speaking country for many years, i miss french food, the best in the world. I know from experience of living in Asia, "European" food is usually highly disappointing, unauthentic ingredients etc, but i thought i would give Paris Delice a try. It is run by french guys and imports part baked bread from Paris, which sounded promising. I went there twice , for lunch and breakfast, i was quite impressed after the lunch. You can have a "salad" menu for lunch and breakfast menu too. I found the food fairly authentic but with small problems, the lettuce leaves were far too big for a salad and the spoons were too big for the cups. There are no waitresses, you pay before . The cashier was not very friendly, which is quite unusual for Philippines.
The prices were quite high for Philippines, I would say only a little less than the prices in France for the meals, but when you taste the food all that is forgotten, it is generally delicious but not quite perfection, really i would give 3 and a half stars. I know filipinos cannot be quite expected to know how to prepare the prefect french recipes, but they do a good job. The Italien baguette sandwich was extremely tasty, instead of butter an olive paste was used. It was a little short and quite expensive, but very tasty.
I would not like to have any problems there , like the credit card or wrong pricing like other posters. But Philippines is always like that, little or no customer service, once they have your money, getting refunds for poor service is like getting blood out of a stone.
That is it, delicious food but could be even better, expensive for Philippines, indifferent staff but overall a great great find, i am going back there again for a second lunch in 2 hours !
The french baguettes are outstanding and the coffee too (where do they get it from ?)
I read the posts below about the bad experiences.
