Breakfast is ok. Girls at the reception are kind. Wifi worked well. In 7-8 minutes of walking you can reach " 7 eleven", "MacDonalds", "Shopwise" (very cheap electricity adaptors/converters). The streets are not lightened though, so after 6 p.m. it is not so pleasant to walk. People are friendly, I felt safe, just watch your steps, because tha boardwalk is rough.
Most of the rooms have no windows. Because of this, the air inside the hotel is not fresh (the smell of wet towels - humidity). No air circulation. The taxi driver stoped 4 times at different petrol stations to ask the way to hotel. It took us more than an hour to get to hotel from the airport. Ok, it is not the hotels fault, but when we reached the hotel, the security guy came up to us. I asked him, if it was the normal price and time to get to hotel. And he stood on taxi driver's side, not on ours. So we paid 426 php instead of 200 - 300 maximum. The other day we went for 200 from hotel to the airport. There are paper walls at the hotel. Big echo in corridors. Even my earplugs didn't help me. :( I had an idea, that maybe some prostitutes bring their clients to the hotel. Late at night we listened to "this" and later: "yes, thank you, good by". Maybe I am wrong, but be ready for the sleepless night anyway. Even there are no windows in the room, the street noise and rooster's songs reach you through ventilation hole. I am glad we stayed there only for one night.
