I have read some reviews on here and they seem to be pretty mixed, I guess that's because each apartment/room is individually furnished.
The room I stayed in was absolutely amazing! It was a one (double) bedroom apartment, almost a home from home! It had a kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom and of course a bathroom (with a double shower with two shower heads).
The kitchen had literally everything you would need to prepare a meal, the bathroom was quite large, so large that it fit a washing machine and a dryer (which was such a big help). I was on the top floor (43rd) and the view was stunning! If you decide to stay here I strongly recommend room 4320, there are two towers and a 4320 in both, but the one I was in was the same tower as the pool.
When I had read reviews before my stay I kept reading 'Safe Area!' but I never really knew how they would know...until I visited that was. The streets are super clean, there is security on the street, the only public transport that is allowed are taxis.
In the lifts/elevators you need to scan your key and you only have access to stop at your floor and the pool floor (very secure!).
The pool facilities were really beautiful, nice big trees and a tranquil setting, the only thing that sucked was that it closed at 7pm, I think night swimming is the best :(
You call '0' from your phone and reception will do almost anything for you. When me and my partner stayed there, we wanted 500 peso changed in to smaller notes and the guy actually came up and changed it for us. We asked for beach towels for the pool, and immediately they were up there. Our balcony door jammed one of the days, they were very apologetic and sent a repair man immediately who fixed it in no time!
I think if I had to say one bad thing it would be that we was not informed before hand that we would need to lay down a 6,000 Peso deposit before hand. I debated this when I arrived saying that I should of been told and they can't just decide this when I arrive. So they halved it to 3,000 peso (which I collected back on my last day). As the apartment décor was so beautiful and modern, I guess this was to cover them if you decided to go crazy. Speaking of the décor, it had lovely huge mirrors in every room, a hair dryer, a iron board, a safe, washing machine, dryer, double shower, study desk, modern sofa, modern dining table and all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need!
Right opposite (30 second walk) is the Powerplant mall, it's a bit crap when it comes to bargain shopping as it's a little more high brow, but one thing I loved was the huge supermarket on the bottom floor. It was perfect to buy food to cook. Also right opposite is BDO and BPI bank which I found very convenient as I needed to remit some money to myself (ref: I used orbitremit.com - first 2 remits are free).
So all in all I absolutely loved this place and will stay here again later this year/early next year however due to some of the bad reviews I will definitely only request this room.
I hope this helps!
