“You're regular buffet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Dad's has been surpassed by so many buffet restaurants mushrooming in town. I think presentation and the menu have to be revisited. At this point, only die hard fans would probably go back. Food is okay.

“grandaddy of buffets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

the company behind this concept triple V probably started the eat-all-you-can style of eating starting with kamayan (eating with one's hands) which specializes in filipino cuisine and slowly adding other cuisines to their repetoire like saisaki (japanese) and dad's, basically american and european cuisine combined. This is one of the best place to eat when you cannot pinpoint exactly what you want to eat. Their buffet has almost everything for everyone as an added bonus you will be serenaded right at your table by a singing trio. Good food, cheap price these are the reasons why they are one of the best in the food business.

“endless Pinoy Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

I first tried Dad's at Faura street in Ermita Manila. They have a small place there which can occupy up to 200-250 seats i think. What I liked about Dad's is their really cheerful staff, they were also very accommodating my officemates and I got there. Of course the food tastes great, especially if you love Filipino dishes. They have a lot of to choose from, but i think they lacked variety in terms of with local dishes, I was expecting to taste dishes cooked by other localities in our country. But anyway, the experience was still great because it's a buffet, including the desserts! They have local varieties of kakanin and halo-halo. I think they just lacked choices, but maybe because we went there during lunch, il try to go there during dinner time, maybe they offer more varieties during that time.
