“Imported beers galore!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

Food is generally very good, great pastas and pizza, and a sensational selection of foreign beers.

“Chill Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

good alternative for a quiet place to talk, eat and drink after office.
calamares + beer is very good.
We always try to make the happy hour which lasts until 8pm. We pre-order everything and have them serve it as we want so that (almost) all drinks are half-priced throughout the night :)
The scampi is quite good as well, but I love shrimp, so I'm biased :) it's just 3 jumbo shrimps on yummy mashed potatoes and some kind of butter sauce. very nice but very expensive for the quantity.
Basically, this is a good place to hang-out :) also a good place for a date.
Service is very good, servers are attentive most of the time and the restrooms are clean.

I wish they'd bring back the other home-brewed draft beers, though. I think it's what makes this place unique. After a new management took over, they removed those from the menu (bad move, I think) By doing that, they just removed one of the best reasons went there in the first place. It's not surprising that the place is rarely full.

“not as great as their Hong Kong counter parts”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

i have been to HK grappa's and i love their food, so when i was walking by greenbelt i was really excited to see Grappa's and went right in. well my excitement was short-lived. I was there with a friend and the food wasnt really that great at all. i ordered a Gnocchi and my friend chicken (rosemary chicken). While mine was almost saltless, the food other wise was ok. sadly the chicken wasnt that good. my friend had a hard time completing it. Grappa's please buck up.. i might try it again tho.. just bcoz grappa's HK was really nice. maybe the chef was having a bad day!

“A mixed bag of excellence and mediocrity”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2012

The appetizers - carpaccio, foie gras - are fabulous and I have always loved the gnocchi at Grappas - although smaller serves would be preferable - and the tiramisu is orgasmic. But the carbonara has a definite Filipino flavour, in that it appeared the chef had used a sweetened cream, and the arrabiata was a long cry from the traditional spicy sauce. Half our table would have graded this restaurant as very good to excellent, half as poor. A mixed bag, but as always, the buffet goes down well with the locals.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and always eager to please. The atmosphere is good - for once, the tables are not crowded together. For beer lovers there is a good list, the wines a little less variety, mostly Italian, but I guess that's acceptable in an Italian restaurant! It is family friendly and equally good for a quiet tete-a-tete. The open kitchen makes interesting viewing if conversation flags.

I would definitely go again - but we are learning what NOT to order...
