I stayed overnight with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had. The room was beautiful, the innkeepers wonderful, and the breakfast amazing. The house is very warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend 10 Fitch to anyone who is staying in the Finger Lakes region. Its an incredible place to stay!

We arrived at 10 Fitch on a frosty weekend in December to celebrate our 17 year anniversary. We were greeted warmly by the Inn Keeper, Cheryl, and after a cup of tea and a chance to unwind, were escorted to our beautiful suite. Cheryl laid a fire for us in the fire place, and brought us a lovely fruit and cheese plate, and a nice bottle of local wine. She had taken care of all arrangements for our weekend, including a couples massage in our room, dinner reservations at two outstanding restaurants, and a wonderful tour of the local wineries, with a nice limo and a friendly and very knowledgeable driver. We awoke to snow our first morning, enjoying the view from our lovely room, and incredibly comfortable bed. The towns of Auburn and Skaneateles had great opportunities for sightseeing and shopping. We loved every minute of our stay at 10 Fitch, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway, or a special place to celebrate your anniversary.

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — The room was beautiful and the bed and linens were outstanding. Also, the inn keeper was a very gracious hostess.
    • Disliked — Could have used more variety for breakfast, or innkeeper should have aksed us what we liked since we were the only guests. We don't like sweet stuff and she made sweet things both mornings.

We normally alternate sweet & savory breakfasts but may occasionally deviate from that. To help ensure that guests are happy during their stay with us they are asked on the reservation form when booking online and asked directly when phoning in to book a reservation if they have any special needs, requirements, food dislikes or allergies.

My wife and I spent a night at 10 Fitch to celebrate our fifth anniversary. Cheryl was extremely helpful and conscientious with everything form the original Inn booking to recommending and making a dinner reservation at a lovely romantic restaurant, and even adding the finishing touches to the beautiful English Suite to make our stay special and memorable. A delicious breakfast prepared by Cheryl's Mom and enjoyed on our private patio was the perfect finishing touch to the experience. We will be back for sure!! Thanks 10 Fitch.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in the English Suite. The pictures of the room online do not do it justice. We had special dietary needs and the food provided was excellent. The property itself is simply stunning and Cheryl and her Mum could not have done any more for us. We just felt so welcome and had one of our best breaks ever. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

We live in Florida and traveled to the Finger Lakes to see the leaves change color. In the past year, we had stayed in the Mandarin Oriental in Miami and the Ritz in Naples and, while they were nice, there was just something missing. 10 Fitch turned out to be just what we were looking for. We stayed in the English Suite for a week, which is one of only three suites in the B&B. The suite has three rooms: a roomy bedroom with a porch, a big bathroom, and a tv lounge. Our next favorite was the Equestrian suite (the Garden suite was also nice, but had a small bathroom). The new owners of 10 Fitch were great!. We mainly dealt with the owner Cheryl and her mother who cooked up a storm. Every morning was an incredible breakfast. Not some hokey continental breakfast, but a multi-course meal. Usually starting with fresh fruit cocktail or something similar followed by eggs benedict, or walnut waffles, or apple pancakes or ham fritatta (you get the idea). The rooms were quiet which was nice. Our biggest surprise was that we really enjoyed meeting the other guests each morning over breakfast. Most were couples between about 35 and 55 (we are 37/38). Almost everyone we met came to celebrate an anniversary. The town of Auburn had some interesting sights, but was less interesting than some nearby towns. But, Auburn is well located to travel to other areas. We found great organic and farm-to-table restaurants and had fun at wineries in the area. It was a great, romantic trip. Chris and Rebeca.
