“Fresh Asparagus to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

everything was really good, but one of the specials that night was local asparagus, which my wife. it was like tasting spring. I asked whether it had been picked the day before, as it tasted so fresh. Our server said "no, this morning." Nice wine list and very good food overall.

“It doesn't get any better in Auburn or elsewhere for that matter.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

Moro's continues to impress us after having visited about three times. My salad was crisp and fresh with a very nice lemon oil dressing. My wife enjoyed the leak and potato soup. I had the special tuna with a wonderful corn and rice mixture. Wife had the small plate of scallops perfectly prepared and served with excellent potatoes. Flavor Flavor Flavor. Don't miss it when in Auburn. Oh and the bread pudding is excellent.

“Fine Dining --Relaxed Ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014 via mobile

Every year we drive from Philadelphia to the Finger Lakes region for vacation. Every year we anticipate dinner at Moro's Table. The high quality food is prepared with care, presentation is exceptional and the ambiance is a delight. We first discovered the restaurant by way of a glowing article in the Wall Street Journal and then our friends recommended it. We know good food. This restaurant is an undiscovered gem that we wish could be transported to Philadelphia!

“Birthday visit”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

We chose this restaurant based on all the wonderful reviews. It was my birthday and we ket them know so they might add a candle to the dessert we ordered or something similar. Not that it mattered, the dessert we chose, the lava cake was dry and awful and though we shared it and it was miniscule we still didn't finish it.
What a disappointment! !
The food was mediocre at best, the service was awful in every way. Slow, rude and condescending.
We are from Manhattan but even with allowances for a small town place this restaurant was a disappointment in every way.
We had the spinach salad with goat cheese which was awful as well as the mussels with bacon and cheese and beer, a dish we have eaten in other places many times, this one was totally tasteless. I can't remember the other dishes we tried but while every single portion was tiny we didnt finish a single item.
We left after 8 dishes starving and horribly upset that my birthday dinner had been a disaster.
Finally, while we were not in a rush we had to get up as if to walk out before we could get a check after 3 and a half hours!
Do not discount the few bad reviews, they are more accurate than you can imagine.
Do not try this place, their are so many better places!
