I decided to try LZM and brought my clients after seeing few reviews about their fried bangus. The place is like a clean eatery, simple interiors with a cafeteria-like vibe. :)
We ordered their fried bangus, kare-kare, chicharon bulaklak, pinakbet, krispy pata, bulalo and tortang talong. I only enjoyed their bangus, pinakbet and chicharon. The bulalo lacks flavor, kare-kare was bland, and their crispy pata was too tough. It was not cheap as what other reviews claimed, it will costs you about $12/pax, imagine a fried bangus at $9? ... Definitely not carinderia prices.
I'd consider coming back but will just stick with their bangus and pinakbet which I notice is their only specialty.
