The first one of its kind in the City of Pines, it seemed like they were on the right track with their lovely little dining area. We took a seat at what looked like the most comfortable chairs and were offered two kinds of menus by our attendant - a paper based menu and a tablet menu. With every sliding motion of our fingers, we started craving for every dish offered at Charley's bar and resto. Ahh, the wonders of technology.
The highlights of our meal here were the Highlands salad, pork with tofu and fisherman's pie. Zingy and healthful; crunchy, squishy, savory; and creamy, cheesy good (even with seafood, which I'm not really a fan of) respectively, these are dishes that I would be sure to order up again. For dessert, we got a pretty slice of frozen berry cheesecake. Our first try of this, it was sort of ice block hard. Nothing that a little patience couldn't fix. Once the cheesecake melts a bit, it's a true cheesecake that was on its way to being ice cream. Innn-teresting.
