“Nice Place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

Firstly the Website is always updated email the manager and the next day or afterwards they already replied. And my stay was good cold even tho theres no aircon.. the wifi is a must. aha free sm wi-fi too.. And Also They are the winner in boutique hotels @ GMA's Pop Talk Episode pinaka Pop na Boutique Hotels VS. 2 Other Hotels. Food are comparable to other fine dines out there. < Said by the Reviewers of the Said shows! And its not over pricing i may Say! Be coming back to this Hotel 4 sure!

Location: best ive ever seen. Walking distance to leonard wood (50's diner, brod pitt, pink sis), neighboring SM (good for last full shows).
Only drawback is the road. Busy road may be a lil bit noisy in the morning, especially if the room you got is facing SM. Wifi? Got loads of wifi here. Kuha pa pati SMFreeWifi.

They advertise themselves as a boutique inn but the rooms are bare, the bathrooms need better cleaning, the ventilation is not good, the breakfast is niggardly and the reception is stiff and perfunctory. The only thing they have going for this establishment is it is right across downhill from SM Baguio. I wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: The corner suites facing the back offer better chances for a good night's rest.

Uninviting staff, over priced, rock hard box spring for a matress, water drips out of shower head when taking a shower, ridiculously small LCD TV in room, paltry breafast with only one cup of coffee. This could be a very nice cozy historical B&B if the rooms were comfortable.

Most Baguio hotels charge you more than what you're getting from this hotel.

These are what I got for the Php1,1980 I paid. These complainants are obviously newbies looking for free meals.

MAXIMA
-complementary breakfast for two that was fast and their resto competes with Baguio Country Club and Forest House in terms of ambience. (google hilltop station restaurant)
-cafe (separate from the resto) which is private and homey
-Room interior inspired by its American Colonial Architecture is exquisite, outstanding workmanship from the walls to the cabinets.
-Few steps away from SM Baguio (SM's wifi can be recieved from my room)
-Free Internet
-American Colonial ambience at the lobby fireplace etc. etc. with a Grand Staircase that leads (below, isn't it interesting) to the Hilltop Restaurant.
-Bookstore that's way different from Powebooks or Fully Booked(where you can sit and read, surrounded by hard to find books and artsies, Filipino and Foreign)
-Spa that offers varied regular and indigenous massages (uniquely baguio and filipino)
-Bathroom that's better than the other hotels that I've stayed since its new and btw, was not part of the original construction of the building since it was built to house workers with common toilets and baths. Fully understandable.
-And of course, you're staying in a NEWLY transformed and REVIVED BAGUIO's few remaining 100 year old structure. Charming, Safe, Sweet and Chic.
-I'd been offered a good discount right then and there.

MINIMA
-wifi hardly reached my room but can be accessed at the lobby and at the resto.
-rooms are excellent but lower floor rooms not ideal for the unseasoned Baguio travellers. same applies with other hotels since most if not all buildings in Baguio are like these due to slopes.
-Other wing is still under renovation, tho tucked behind, I could still see it from the corner of the resto.

Stay here, you'll get more than your money's worth. I frequent Baguio a lot, if I want privacy I stay here.

the hotel has unfulfilled possibilities. room service? why is this a problem area? a complete lack of communication between hotel & restaurant staff.
breakfast........we were forced to eat breakfast at The Cafe By The Ruins as the breakfast service at Hill Station was appalling!!! my wife had the complementary breakfast, i ordered a regular breakfast.
i had to wait one hour. my wife finished her food a half hour before mine appeared.
your staffs excuse? the cook could not find the bacon?!!!
why are there no tea/cofee making facilities in the guest rooms? surely this is an international standard practice.

Pros:
- Best location: 5 minute walk to SM (the biggest mall in Baguio), just beside the iconic Barrio Fiesta, a few minute stroll away from session road (main thoroughfare)
- Clean, cozy rooms
- The SM wifi, which is free, reaches the hotel.

Cons:
- Standard rooms are beside the road (so you'll hear traffic noise)
- No AC
- Hotel wifi does not work

We're on a budget so we didn't take the deluxe room.

BUT, no AC means I had to open the window to feel the cold weather. All the standard rooms are just beside the road. I live in the city so I don't mind the traffic noise so much. My problem was that after the window shutter comes the curtains. There were no window screens so my only protection (from burglars/intruders) when I slept were the heavy curtains.

Crime rate in Baguio is very low, but I'd feel safer if with more there was more than a curtain between sleeping me and the road.

ON THE PLUS SIDE: I loved the free breakfast served at restaurant below the hotel (Hillstation).

Baguio is great!

Room Tip: Don't get the standard room!
