“nice and quaint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

small, quaint atmosphere. The owners are chef and waiter and there are only 5 tables. The food was nice because it was home made.

“Better than on the resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

If you are staying in Panama at the Royal Decameron take a walk into the small town and check out this little place. We ate here everyday. The have the best clams. This is a quiet but a nice place to eat if you are getting bored of the food on the resort. The decore is beautiful and natural on it's own. Upon entering you would not even think this is a restaurant unless you saw their sign out front on the walkway. I would recommend to eat here. It is clean and cozy and the beer prices are good.

“Excellent resturant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Very quaint resturant situated in a small hamlet just outside the Royal Decameron resort. We found this eatery just by chance and ran into its Swiss owner George who was very helpful and charming. We later went and ate there, we had the Sexy Lobster and Filet mingnon ( 5 course meal) cooked by Georges beautiful Panamanian wife Luz.. We had 3 beers and two wines, total bill including 15% tip was 82.00 dollars. A very clean pretty place well worth checking out if you are in the area. Oh and Amy Whinehouse, the music of choice-very cool.

“fantastic but pricy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

We did try the Fogata restaurant which is 5-10 min walk from Lobby 2 (Royal Decameron resort), down the street – cannot miss it. The food there was fantastic but pricy. The owners speak English perfectly.
