After much deliberation I went with the pescado entero: an entire fish on your plate with fries and an orange slice. Fish was great. Fries were OK. My wife had the fried platanos on her plate and those were better than my fries for sure.
The standout here, though, above the food, is the view. It's just a cool atmosphere to be eating outside with a great view of Chitré and the Pacific Ocean.
Some locals say this place is expensive. Making the comparison from their perspective I'm sure that is. But if you make the comparison coming from the US this place will seem cheap. Whole fish for $6. Local beers for $1. Our family of 3 ate diner for $17.50 before tip.
