The staff remembers you by name are always has a welcoming smile. The breakfast is always served quicly. The salads are a hit for lunch and the cheese cake is out of this world.
This place is always consistant in their producs and service and the smell of fresh baked bread is irresistable.

“Yes, I enjoyed Gringo-ville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

I admit it, I enjoy eating here. Great bread, crusty, freshly baked, yes, as good as everyone says...and IMHO bread is not why one goes to South of Central America, medialunas excepted.
I've had soup, Cuban sandwich (good but not my fav), muffins, salad with apples, & some fruit dressing.
Lotsa expats talking about expat things...but what did you expect. Prices are reasonable..had a great egg sandwich this morning, with ummmm, yankee-style bacon. Really.

“its a bakery and not gourmet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Its just average, nothing bad to say and that says a lot. We had breakfast, sat outside on the very noisy main road and I cant say it was any better than average.

“great for breakfast and lunch ($4-5)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Excellent bakery run by an ex-pat. Fresh bread, pastries, great coffee. Wonderful egg breakfasts and all toast and sandwiches are made with freshly baked bread. Staff speaks english. Order and pay at the counter and your meal will be brought to you. Attractive indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to meet other travelers and ex-pats. Open until 6 pm most days. Closed Wednesday. Customary to place tip in birdhouse on counter where you order for staff to share.

“Beautiful food at the cheapest price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012 via mobile

Don't let the prices fool you - I havn't come across such low prices for food since Nicaragua (Travelling south through Central America), but combine this with amazingly tasty sandwiches & muffins and you get a fantastic spot to chill out at.

This place is a must to eat at in Boquete - Don't misa out!
