We were advised by friends that Panamonte was one stop not to miss while in Boquete.
The setting is nice but we both found it very pretentious and maybe it is possible that because there are not many high end options, some believe this place is the thing!
The setting is nice, but when it came to food it did not surprise us, the short ribs were too sweet and the portions were very stingy, the ceviche was made with bitter lemons and the pumpkin soup was the highligth so it was not a complete miss. We did not return during our trip, we explored other less hipped restaurants to our surprise and delight.
