Panamonte Inn is charming. Staff was lovely. Even though it is pristine and everything is white, the staff made us feel comfortable showing up with young kids. (We went early, when it first opened for dinner, which I'm sure helped.) The menu is exactly the kind of food we like. It probably raised our expectations a bit too high. The pumpkin soup and grilled hearts of palm were just OK. My trout was wonderful. My husband thought his fish (can't remember what he got) was a bit overcooked. Still, we would go back there and keep trying more, or just eat the trout again .... Enjoy.
