though the place is now deserted as the route has changed, the 4.4 km boundry wall has a lot to say regarding the might this fort was designed to show. a legend in itself and a beautiful mixture of hindu and muslim architecture.

“OLD AGE”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We travelled there and hardly spent couple of hours. Very interesting and impressive structure. Cool and Calm place and very good site. Reveals the dignity of our old age great rulers and feel proud. It is around 4 KM in area and need go energy and walking ability on rocks and natural type stairs. Ladies and Kids may feel exhausted. There is also a very good Museum of Sher Shah Suri having old coins and Swords. A very wide area with good scenery for photography.

“Isolated and remote”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Very interesting and impressive structure in a slightly romantic setting. The various gates are good to see and the fort itself is very large. Not very popular with visitors. Not as impressive a setting as forts east of Bahawalpur.

“A place worth visiting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

A very good site. Totally worth visiting. You have a pretty good experience as you watch all the historical sites which were once accommodated by the great rajahs. A good place for taking pictures as well because yo can keep river jehlum as the background
