“Atmospheric little town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

Good town to wander around in. Green terraces and falaj to see. Old mud brick houses on a fairly steep hill side.

“Very nice old village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

Quiet village at the base of the mountains; very relaxed, beautiful 'falaj', nice views; worth the stop over for a visit of a couple of hours.

“Real live mountain village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

After a steep drive up we had a great walk through the village. There is a good route which is indicated but just walkiong freely will do. Beautiful views and nice to see a real live mountain village.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Fromthis villageyou could make a very pleasant walk along the gardens covered hill below the bottom of the valley, and then on to top of another village, andthen to the main road. It takes ca 2 h, but all wiews are just beautiful and changed every moment. Walk begins at the corner of Mistaf guesthouse and is well marked. Ask them they speek good english.

“Oasis between mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

Misfat al abreyeen ( was mostly occupied by Al-Abri tribe). this small village is a must to visit specially in the winter time . Park your car outside the village and then start to discover the village (old houses). for those who r interesting to do small hiking , they can follow the yellow red marks and walk down the valley , passing the local farms . for those who are interesting in spending night in the village, they can ask for small guest house there (i had coffee with owner once and he is such friendly man)
