First let me say - SAVE ROOM for Baby Jesus Cake! It is awesome and a large portion and easy to share. We started with the cauliflower appetizer and thought it was most delicious. This will become a favorite starter. We also shared a fresh and tasty mixed green salad with feta and watermelon. What a superb blend of flavors - very light and refreshing. Main courses were lasagna and parppadelle w pancetta. The lasagna was a very meaty, cheesy, and flavorful dish. The flavors blended nicely but it was very hot and it was a very hot night and probably not the best choice only because of the weather. The parppadelle was a light version of carbonara with delicious rich noodles and sauce. This was our favorite dish of the two! And of course, dessert - Baby Jesus Cake left us wanting to find the recipe. Enjoyed wine on tap as this allowed us to try several selections without committing to a bottle. The venu is very small but adequately staffed, service was very good at the beginning of the ordering process, and food was delivered promptly, service fell off a bit after that and of course as the restaurant got busier. Will definitely visit again when in New York. Just a short subway ride from Manhattan and well worth the trip, the money, and the time!
