I decided to give a 5 out of 5 because of the lodge excellent value. The stiltz was probably the best priced lodge we stayed at in Namibia.
The location may seem a bit odd at first (we arrived late afternoon and it was pouring) but it turned out to be a beautiful and safe location.
The staff was extremely friendly. We arrived late so we asked for a diner recommendation and they suggested Kucki's. And we enjoyed it.
The bugalow (#6) was bigger than I though with great views of the ocean and a small balcony. Even though, we were on stilts, we were not over the water but maybe that was a good thing. The waves were absolutely gigantic.
Breakfast was delicious with the standard Namibian options: bacon, eggs, toasts, jusice, coffee, fruit,...
We decided to go on a Sandwich Harbour tour with Turnstone tours on our second and last day. It may have been our lucky day but we were the only ones. We absolutely loved it.
The reception graciously offered to call them and confirm our reservation.
The bed was very comfortable. It turned out that it was the only king size bed we had for the whole 3 weeks of our trip (all the other beds we had were either singles or doubles, or two singles put together.
Small tip: we found this great small pizza joint: it was called something like Western Saloon pizzeria . I definitely recommend it. It was really, really good.
