We had dinner at the Brauhaus and found it to be average on all counts.
Food: Large servings of good German food. However, they have an extremely limited vegetarian menu. The food was good and the servings were extremely large. They have a large beer selection, and that is what most folks come for. If you go early, there is ample seating, but it tends to fill up and get loud later in the evening.
Service: The service was very efficient. The wait staff recognize the locals and everyone else is a tourist. They are in a rush to get your order, beer and food at one go. We wanted to enjoy our wine and beer before our order, and commented on this but the waitress came by every 5 minutes to check if we were ready to order. The food was brought out fast but it took us forever to get the bill and pay. Looks like they want to get you settled, beer, wine, food and then leave you be to enjoy the evening. The empty plates were never picked up.
Ambiance: It restaurant is well decorated, there is a big bar and there is ample seating. However, when it is crowded it gets very loud.
Overall, an OK place to get food, an good place to get beer.
