Thanks to management and staff for the excellent service and warm hospitality, you really went all out to accommodate us on such short notice and really made our stay so incredible. With great breakfast, fantastic rooms, incredible management and staff Atlantic Villa is a definite must visit when you're planning your trip to Namibia.

It is clean, it is modern, it has glass drawers, the rooms are spacey, but what it lacks is character. The glass doors of the toilet might make some people uncomfortable. Still it is very close to the beach and is good for walks. Bed was very comfy

This is probably the place to stay in Swakopmund. There are a variety of rooms available, from single rooms to family rooms to rooms with a sea view. The facilities are good and there is also an outdoor braai facility. The property is spacious, and there is secure parking for motor vehicles. Management is very helpful. The price is very reasonable, so overall excellent value for your money.

Friendly staff. Beautiful upmarket rooms with brilliant views. Very neat and tidy. A bit out of town but a pefect break away, resting place. Pebble beach just infront, very nice for long strolling walks on the beach.

The rooms we were first given were absolutely freezing - vast concrete boxes with minimal stark furniture and zero heating with a view of the parking lot and street lights. All fixtures in the room have LED lights on them so it's bright enough to read a book in all night. We complained and were given heaters the next day and moved rooms. The rooms in the main house are decorated entirely differently - normal motel furnishings and thankfully somewhat warmer. Still missing basic things like racks in the shower to put shampoo on or do not disturb signs. If you stay here and reserve ocean view rooms, as we did, make sure they are on the second floor, which have beautiful views. Breakfast is quite adequate with cold and hot options but you're on your own with any dietary restrictions. The hotel is located outside of town - about an hour's walk or fifteen minute drive. Probably much nicer in the summer but not a place to hang out and enjoy.

Our family group stayed at the lodge over New Years. The staff was great and they accommodated every request happily. The lodge does not have a people, but it is at an excellent location 2mins from the beach.

The rooms were kept clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. The decor is a little minimalist so which is why i think it gets labeled as a 'boutique' lodge. A car is essential to get around so make sure to reserve on. I will say that our only problem was in getting dinner reservations during the busy holiday season. Book in advance if you can.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with an ocean view. The rooms without one tend to look on back walls or roads. I al...

Booked in here over the festive period with a group of friends - 4 rooms in total.
At face value, the place has potential. Its pretty, cost effective and certainly has some good points. It fails to deliver, mostly due to the attitude of the management.
Of the 4 rooms booked, none were actually the self catering units we had requested specifically at the time of reservation.
2 of the bookings, ended up being positioned in different buildings, making the co-ordination of the group very difficult.
Most of the bookings the concierge offered to make, on our behalf, at restaurants etc in the area were incorrect, or not done leading to a few embarrassing situations.
The newest room was only semi furnished, smelt of wet plaster, and had no aircon - and the movement of luggage too and from vehicles was a challenge.
Bottom line, match your expectations to what the place really is, a boutique guest house parading as a hotel - and you wont be disappointed.
Im not entirely sure if John Cleese, is planning another series of Fawlty Towers - but if he wanted a Southern African slant, this may just be the perfect place to film!
