Riad Marosko
Just stayed here for 3 nights June 2007. Excellent Riad…exactly what one may expect…set in the heart of the ‘medina’.
The Riad is run by Mari (and her husband.Rosko who we did not meet as he was away). However Mari was a lovely hostess..who ensured we had everything we needed for the entire stay.
Breakfast on the roof terrace..beautiful!! All staff here really really friendly….. Nothing is too much trouble…lovely people…the Riad has been renovated by Mari and Rosko to a very high standard..most of all it is exceptionally clean…As you are within the Medina..expect to hear the call to prayer at 4AM…it woke us some nights but not others..it only lasts a few minutes and adds to the genuine atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend this Riad.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was really relaxing. Mari was brilliant giving us a map and showing us where everything was. We stayed on the ground floor. There was loads of space but I think I'd prefer to stay on a higher level. More light and air.
The breakfast was lovely and the chameleon's were amazing. Could watch them for ages.

Essouira is a great town. We really enjoyed the restaurants, there are a couple of quite unusual ones.

We stayed at the Riad Marosko for 3 night in mid March.
The riad had a lovely feel to it, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were nice, and we were on the ground floor with a mezzanine. The room was fairly large with a good bathroom.
The location was great, and it was easy to reach restaurants and the beach.
It was really good value for money and i would definitely recommend this Riad.

The breakfasts here are a delight (pancakes, fresh orange juice etc), with wonderful views over the roof tops towards the sea. The rooms are nicely done out, though some can be a bit airless (we moved from the first to second floor which was a big improvement). If you can get a room with exterior window then all the better (none were available when we were there though we had a look inside). The staff are great, very friendly and went out of their way to help.

Essaouria is a delightful seaside town, the only tourist site I have known that has vastly improved over time (I came here in 1993 and did not enjoy it half so much). It is beautiful, quiet, clean, manageable, friendly, fabulous value (buy everything here rather than Marrakech), and has a stunnijg beach right on its front door. Even finding a beer is quite an adventure (ask the boys running the fish restaurants by the harbour - and eat there as well it is rediculously good value).

We stayed 1week here and could very relaxe and enjoy because of the peaple in Marosko.
Maria ,Christian(Marosko) and other staffes were very helpful and kind.
I can´t forget the breakfast on the loof balcony on sunny day with lovely marocaine pancake.....
The room, we enjoyed to stay two diffarent rooms Blue and Red.
Both of them were so cute and nice, but if you are matured couple, I recommend Red one.
