“It's a sad beach really”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Its so sad how dirty this beach is in contrast to the beauty of the dunes and the beach itself. There is even an area call plastic alley. so sad, something should be done to clean it up.

“Wide and empty, just seagulls and windsurfers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

The wide expanse of beach, certainly at low tide makes this beach impossible to crowd. The sand is clean, and although in places it looks as though oil has slicked across, on closer examination, it is streaks of black sand.
It's uplifting to see the windsurfers and seagulls wings competing for airspace.
Camel rides are available and it can be a bit annoying to keep being asked whether you want a camel ride or some bracelets as you walk barefoot as the tide re4aches the sand. But if you haven't enjoyed the proactive approach of the salesmen in the souks and shops in Morocco by now, you will not enjoy these approaches either and probably have already decided never to visit Morocco again. For myself, the approaches were not enough to put me off enjoying this wonderful beach and surrounding countryside.

“Lovely Views, Clean air”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

It was not the cleanest beach I visited in Morocco. It is fun to walk along, catch a camel ride,or ride horses on. the views are magnificent and some people swim the cannel there. Only shells are along seawall when tide is out.

“Castle in the Sand”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

A great place for long walks along the beach for miles. Diabat is only 5km away and a stop off at the 'Jimi Hendrix' cafe for mint tea or soft drinks worth a visit.

“very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

nice but beware on taking photographs, people are not very friendly when they see you taking photos. sometimes you take the camera to shoot one landscape but they think you are photographing them! and some of them can become a bit nasty
