Enjoyed local fish here. Lovely courtyard with many shrubs and gas heaters surrounded by small dining areas, also a 2nd floor. Live music later in the evening but not overpowering. The owner/manager was very charming with perfect English.

A mixed menu so great if one of you wants something european and the other wants something more asian. One of the few places to serve wine (and nice wine at that) and the staff are lovely and friendly. The music gave the place a great atmosphere, perfect for a fun evening out and they give you extra treats to start off your meal with.

The restaurant is located in a riad just off the main road. There are tables in the courtyard and in four or five "chambres séparées" around the courtyard, The decoration is completely wacky and provides for hours of conversation.
The food is good, especially the simpler dishes such as the chicken with dry fruits while the "fusion" dishes tend to be overloaded with too many ingredients on the plate.
The service is the friendliest and most efficient we encountered during a week in Essaouira which is saying a lot, and I shall certainly return on my next vist to the town.
