“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Stayed here for 1 night.
Great place, nice location just near the port, not far from the good restaurant.
Rooms are clean, cool decorated.
Lobby is also very good decorated.
Breakfast was very good and delicious.
Spent great time here!

“Lovely & Unusually Designed Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2012

We just spent 5 lovely nights at the this riad, which has a beautiful and unusual round central opening - rather then the traditional square!

We didn't book ahead and since it was quiet season, we managed to get one of the sunnier rooms on the top floor (Ask for Room 10!) for just 300 dirhams a night, plus 50 extra for breakfast for 2 people. Usually, it's about double the price!

The staff are friendly and helpful, most of the time they are watching football on a big screen in the large downstairs lounge - which my husband enjoyed a bit too!

The roof terrace had great views, very large with several loungers and seating areas. We sunbathed up there for a few days - and had it all to ourselves! Could do with being re-painted and spruced up a bit, but it was much nicer than all the other riads we checked out and the reason we chose this one!

Room Tip: Room 10 - Lovely and bright and private up on the top floor!

“Fabulous find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2011

We had no accommodation in Essaouira and were delighted to find this lovely Riad. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the acoustic guitar session on Friday night was magical. It is right by the walls and the terrace has a great view across the town and the ocean. It was good value for money, in a great location and had a warm and friendly atmosphere.
