We came here soon after it opened and it was great. A few years later the impression was a LOT less positive.

The tajine was not of modest size, it was one large lump of bone without meat and a lot of prunes. The starter - some sort of 'special salad' featured old rice and a few flakes of tinned tuna plus a little tomato. It is NOT cheap for what it is.

The couple are friendly, yes, but cramming in a (loud) party who booked for 4 and 8 turned up was perhaps good for business but it turned a tiny cosy place into an overcrowded one.

Overall, a feeling of being ripped off. Shame.

lovely fresh food which was good value for money. the vegi gratin and the pastillas are worth tasting. the chocolate tarte is also a winner.

Visited as a recommended place to eat and we were not dissapointed. Menu was small but the food was freshy prepared and exceptional. Visited twice during our stay, on the 2nd visit it was my husband's birthday which they must have overheard us talking about. When his dessert was served there was a candle in it and the staff and other customers sang happy birthday to him. For 3 courses for 4 of us, including a tip it was about £50.00. Cannot get better value than that!

Really delicious Moroccan food with a hint of French attention to detail. Very warm and caring service from the hosts Frederique, Edouard and Marion + chef and waiter. Bit hard to find but well worth it! Will definitely be reccomending to friends. Wish we had found La Decouverte earlier so we could go back - it was our last night. Great value.
