A nice riad, in a superbly not nice town. I feel mean writing this, but just don’t see what the fuss is about El Jadida. While there I did declare it “the worst place I have ever been in my life”, which may be a little harsh, but that I said it at all it says quite a lot.
I was imagining a pretty little town like Cochin in India, but it is infact a grey, depressing place with rubbish in the streets and kids hanging around. Infact, seeing as the riad was next to a secondary school, there were a LOT of kids hanging about and playing football in the street, and teenagers herding together don’t seem to be pleasant people to be around the world over.
Having said all that, the riad is lovely and spacious, and the owners polite and friendly. If it were anywhere else I’d be bigging it up like anything.
