Superb!
Followed Trip Advisor advice about buying water and soft drinks in village down the road, much cheaper.
Wine was very expensive and really the hotel lost out because most people only had half a bottle where as if it had been a little cheaper we would have had a daily bottle.
That was our only complaint, it really was the holiday of our life time and just adored the whole experience.
we are golfers and that was super as well.

My husband and I went to celebrate our Pearl Wedding Anniversary....and what a great delight. We were upgraded to a Villa with private pool - and the Villa Master could not be bettered anywhere.
The staff everywhere where excellent - from first entering the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. We did not hire a car - but did hire taxis for half days and full days...just one tip - ensure that you agree the price before settling in. Also, like most places - the drivers are probably paid to take you to the overpriced tourist shops and restaurants.. just be firm with them and tell them you don't want to go in.(unless of course it's your choice)
The beach was fantastic..
Food in every restaurant we tried was superb...We were treated to a dinner on our anniversary - right at the edge of the beach...oh to be there right now.
Previous notices mention children - but the period we were there, we only saw and heard a few.
The trips we took over the island were some that are not to be missed...
We booked with Oceanic Travel ( Edinburgh Agent) - and also added a couple of days in Dubai on the way back.
Service from first booking until return from everyone involved was FANTASTIC... will we go back - yes...

This is a world class resort. The rooms have been superbly rennovated and the layout caters for all needs. Given the golf course attraction the remaining facilities are not overcrowded. I.E. You will not see a towel stampede at 6am! There is always space at the pools or beach, the staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Would definitely go back.

This was a wonderful trip! We booked through 3D GOLF but booked our own flights.
We decide to fly business class and booked through Last minute.com.flying Air France from Edinburgh to Paris and then to Mauritius. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

From the minute we left Edinburgh we felt like we were indeed on holiday. The lounge in Paris where we sat in between flights was very nice and so was the champagne :o)
Our French stewardess was lovely and we felt as if we were in a restaurant. Lovely food and wine. We could lie flat and sleep which was a great way to travel. I believe that Air Mauritius did not have seats like these.
We had been to the Belle Mare 8 years ago and couldn't believe the changes. Fabulous!! Not a word of complaint except maybe the price of water and wine as other reviewers mentioned. This did not spoil our holiday though. The Links course was fab and we tended to play there rather than the Legend. We also played Le Touessrok, which was very scenic and beautifully landscaped but not the greatest course to play. Too many blind holes!!
Still worth a visit though. We booked it through the hotel when we were there. Approx £65 each.
Hotel was spotless and staff, wonderful!
Can't wait to go back and decided to forget about silly Christmas presents and SAVE!!!
