We ate at Domaine Anna three times during our 7 nights at Flic en Flac, and enjoyed it every time. First impressions were very positive, when we called in to investigate one lunchtime and were shown round by a waitress. It is very large, with three eating areas, including the lovely water garden, where tables are set on wooden platforms. Although large and quite full, especially on Saturday when the band was playing, and several big parties being present every time, the service was always efficient, personal and friendly. The cuisine was not quite what we expected, as Domaine Anna is described in guide books as 'Chinese'. The menu is actually predominantly fish and seafood oriented, with meat playing a minor part; though certainly a part of each menu section is Chinese style. We found the food to be consistently good, including sautéed fish fillets Chinese style, steak in Mauritian rougaille sauce, and lamb in peppercorn sauce. We considered it to be good value, typically about 2100 mru (£42?) for two, 2 courses and a bottle of wine. Domaine Anna is a little way out of Flic en Flac but is well signed off the main road, where it is 300 metres down a track, so a taxi or rental car is essential.
