My wife and I were traveling during the Indian Festival of Lights : Diwali in November 2012 and we stayed at this beautifully located Lux Belle Mare hotel in Mauritius.

We were overwhelmed with the hospitality and courtesy shown towards us: by the staff : the team of the very friendly, warm and welcoming General Manager : Mr. Ashish Modak.

Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. Really impressed by the staff and services. Haven't seen a more courteous, friendly staff in any of the hotel across the world outside India especially. It felt like a home away from home.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at LUX Belle Mare end of September. Unfortunately we stayed only for one week! From the moment we arrived we felt like in paradise. Where should we start to explain? – amazing location, beautiful and well-kept hotel resort, wonderful beach, huge pool, excellent food! But the most outstanding experience for us was the great hotel staff! We have never met such polite, careful and warm-hearted employees that anticipate every wish!
We have visited a lot of places all over the world but LUX Belle Mare is definitely heaven on earth and by far one of the best hotels in the world! Thank you for one of the greatest holidays we have ever had! We will be back one day!

Vikram and sanjiv, vijay, (bar) anu,manishe(restaurant) ramess (f&b mgr)and roopes (mgr of indouchine) and all his staff, These guys know what looking after the guests is all about. If I could take them back to England to work with us I believe our business would be every bit as successful as the hotel is. What wonderful service and genuine kindness as to wether they can make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Perfect. All the staff are lovely but these guys stood out for us. We will definitely be back next year. Lunch at the beach was a must for us every day. Pure class, in the evening we loved the indouchine restaurant wow. If you love Thai food. It was top class and if we had one back In Brighton we would be going every week. We are sad to be leaving. And I have never loved a hotel or Holiday as much that I have felt compelled to write a review. Well done to the lux. You excel in my eyes

Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
The staff are first class and a credit to the lux group , with a special mention to Jessica and Rishi along with his team on the beach,made our holiday relaxing and trouble free. Will certainly be back next year .
