The room is literally 2.5m by 2.5m which is just big enough for a bed. You have to clamber over your luggage everytime you go to the bathroom. However it was clean, the air-con worked a treat and the bed was comfortable.
What if unjustifiable is the price. We paid close to $60 for a room and 12 hours aircon. In KL, $60 gets you something quite nice downtown. They are the only hotel at the LCCT and clearly taking advantage of this in their prices.

In the end it cost around US$70 for a night, with wifi, and a comfort kit that included a towel and soap but no toothbrush. If the room was $30 or even $50 maybe it would be OK.. but at US$70 it's just plain gouging. The room is tiny.. in fact it's a challenge to get your body and your suitcase through the door as there's only about 40 cm of floor space between the bed and the walls.. and you have to climb over your suitcase (or the bed) to get from the door to the bathroom. I fly with Air Asia a lot.. but since staying at this hotel I book my flights around NOT having to overnight at KLIA-LCCT.

I just checked out after a one night stay with my girlfriend and was amazed that they find it acceptable to charge what they do for what is provided. Was just here for a 1 night layover and wanted something near the airport. Seeing that supply is totally limited, I suppose they feel they can charge what they want and will be full no matter what. In that sense, it seems to me that it can hurt their brand image as it is almost taking advantage of people through their monopoly on proximity.
I paid about $65 on agoda. I have later talked to people who paid much more. The room is laughably small. You cannot maneuver through the room with two people and bags. There is no TV either. When you check in, they give you a towel and shampoo/soap. That is the end of all services. They will charge you $4 for wifi in the room, which is only usable with 1 device at a time. There is a single electric outlet. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear others quite easily. The window in the bathroom opens to the hallway.
To the staff, they were there only to go through the motions. Friendliness not noticeable and the housekeepers don't acknowledge with a hello or smile when encountered.
All this being said, the bed is fine, even for two and the bathroom is fine for a layover. I would not be so harsh if the prices they somehow justify were more reasonable. They must be making a mint and will continue to. Result for me is that I will not entertain the idea of staying at a Tune hotel again.

And thats the advantage especially if you have an early morning flight as I did. In fact I had two such destinations having to double back from Siem Reap to get to Chiang Mai and no connecting service. The rooms are small, no doubt about that as you open the door it just passes by the bottom of the bed but for what I pad it was adequate. I paid extra for air conditioning but took my own towel although a package is not expensive of top of the base price. Certainly wouldn't stay here longer than 1 night but its the best option you have as its an hours journey into the city and you are unlikely to find anything cheaper than this place, believe me I have tried and its not worth the effort.
