“A good hotel within easy reach of the airports”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

The Tune hotel is very close to KL Low cost Terminal it’s only a 5 minute walk or a 1RM minibus ride from the airport. This makes it a very good choice if you have an early start on Air Asia and are not in KL for more than a few hours. The hotels shuttle bus runs to the airport every 30min 24-7 and departs from the last stand on the left of the second drop off row outside domestic arrivals at KLIA-LCCT.
The hotels rooms are very small as others have already pointed out; in fact there are no cupboards, draws or wardrobes at all. But as you are only likely to be in the room 12-18 hours would you need to unpack at all? The one outstanding part of the room is the shower room, wow it has a really powerful shower fitted which really does the job after a long flight.
The restaurant attached to the hotel serves good food from early morning to late at night which is both tasty and filling. If you just need a snack then there is a 7-eleven on site as well. Overall the hotel is great for one night to save you the problems of getting in and out of KL.

The hotel is located just within the proximity of the airport. You can choose to walk if you don't have luggages with you or you can take their shuttle service with just a minimum fare of 1RM. The hotel building itsef is big but rooms and hotel lobby are small. Perhaps they maximize the use of space to provide more rooms for the quests. It's all basic. Small room with limited space for big luggage. But then, if you are only there to spend night just to catch your early flight on the next day, I guess you'll just be fine. Don't stay there if you intend to visit KL city proper, it's way too far. This hotel fairly caters those guests in transit. Nothing to complain, it's better spending night at this hotel than sleeping at the aiprort. Anyway, they charge only according to your needs. By the way, they have "left-luggage" service with just minimal fee. We left our luggage with them when we visited Singapore for 3 days.

Room Tip: Specify at the counter that you wanted a room with working A/C. Ours during our first stay didn'...

I stayed at this hotel because I arrived in Kuala Lumpur international airport late evening.
I took the hotel's shuttle bus from airport to the hotel. It was useful and inexpensive.
The guest room was very small. I couldn't open my suitcase there. The bed was not small but I felt it was damp. Because of thin wall, door and window, I heard voices when some guests walked passages.
The good point about this hotel is very close to the airport, nothing more. If you have time to go to the central of Kuala Lumpur, I recommend to stay at a hotel there. There are many better and more reasonable hotels in central of KL.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for completing a Trip Advisor Review on your recent visit to our hotel.

Our properties are always located centrally, at affordable prices. Our rooms are clean, secured and comfortable for a great slumber experience.

We pride ourselves for offering competitive rates and the flexibility to tailor your stay according to budget

Tune Hotels requires extra payment for anything that is not an elemental part of a stay.

'For non-essential items such as TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee and air conditioning, guests only pay if they need them. Guests not using the extra facilities won't be charged for them as part of the room price

Our rates are comparable to other surrounding properties and many find this a bargain. Our demand based pricing mechanism, rewards early birds with cheaper room rates. Thus, rates are cheaper if booked early in advance.

Thank you for tuning in and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future

Warm Regards,
De Silva - Customer Care Manager

Stayed one night to catch early morning connection to Cambodia. Expectations were guarded after reading some reviews but to be fair the hotel does the job it is designed for being relatively cheap and very convenient. Short 5min walk from Air Asia terminal across carparks viz covered walkway. No probs with check in or booking - done online in advance. Room is small - little more than the bed but it is only a place to stay for the night before you move on. I certainly would not go to the cost of heading into KL for a one night stopover or even transferring around to main airport if you are flying with Air Asia. The Tune hotel is very convenient and quite serviceable as a one night transit option. Restaurant next door is ok or you have number of airport eating options if required.

Room Tip: convenient for a transit connection

Dear Guest,

Thank you for completing a Trip Advisor Review on your recent visit to our hotel

Tune is a charm for the ones looking for a place that is clean, secure and value for money.

Tune Hotels KLIA-LCCT provides space-challenged rooms but they're impeccably clean and perfectly adequate as "crash pads"

Due to its close proximity to the airport, indeed it does appeal to a lot of transit travelers to rest and refresh themselves before catching their next flight.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on Trip advisor.

We certainly look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Thank you.

Convenient to KLIA-LCCT Airport. Cheap, clean and comfortable rooms. Great for overnight stays between flights. Within easy walking distance or use hotel shuttle for 1RM. There is an outdoor area downstairs where you can enjoy a drink. There is also a convenience store and restaurant. This is the second time we have stayed at KLIA-LCCT Tune and have found staff to be efficient and helpful on both occasions.

If you need overnight accommodation due to an early morning connecting flight, this is your hotel. Book in advance for a good deal - very basic amenities and very small rooms (im talking SMALL!). Who cares, we literrally needed a place to sleep for 8 hours and hop on a very early morning flight. They can also arrange a cab as we flew into KLCC and out of KLIA. No complaints but we understand that when you pay $20-30, you should expect $20-30 worth of accommodation.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for the TA review.

We provide the basic for a good night sleep; clean rooms, comfortable beds and relaxing power shower for a great slumber experience.

Providing the basic helps keep prices competitive. This allows great band of affordability particularly targeted at the value-conscious travelers

Our rooms are space-challenged, but they're impeccably clean and perfectly adequate as "crash pads".

Location says it all. This hotel is located at the end of the carpark of the LCCT, just a 10min. walk. The hotel also provide a shuttle for a small fee. They are budget rooms and very small but clean and the bed is very comfortable. Perfect for an overnight stay between flights when you just want somewhere to sleep. You pay extra for aircon and towels when you book. Reception staff were helpful. There is a bar downstairs that provides drinks and meals from breakfast till very late at night and also a small convenience store.
