D'Fong provides a nice dining environment with reasonably good acoustics. The food is also very good if, accompanied by a frank chat with the captain, the correct dishes are ordered. The chef's super dishes include the signature pork ribs with honey, bean curd with a hint of petai and roast chicken (moist on the inside and crisp on the outside). Other dishes like steamed fish, sauteed lotus root and lin yong kai lan are also good. Waiters are reasonably attentive though some lack finesse especially when laying out the desert bowls. Ample parking is easily available.
