“Deliciously different”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

Informal non - halal restaurant serving tasty Thai food with a twist. A little pricey but portions are large and food quality excellent. We especially liked the linguine pad thai with its surprising but complementary Japanese influence and the special crispy roast pork and soft shell crab salad was yummy. Red ruby and coconut gelato provided a refreshing end to our delicious meal.Service was also attentive and the RM10 corkage an added bonus.

“Kompliments”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

Good food and well developed on a fusion theme, which means it is a very interesting menu. And some dishes can be very authentic THai - if you like very spicy.
Good service and a very quirky interior with the corrugated roofing metal on the walls.
Very attentive and responsive staff.
Overall - very good and worth a visit.

“Unique”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Went there with my hubby. Food was good. Service were very attentive. Tom yum soup for two person was just too much for us. We took the middle level of spiciness. Just nice for us. Slightly expensive but worth the money.

“Unique and flavorful fusion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Looking for a fresh take on thai and fusion, this place is a must try... low key and hidden in the suburbs. On a friday evening, this place was surprisingly quiet, max 3 tables were filled only. Great for us, no queues or noise, it turned out to be a nice quiet private family dinner. Was suspecting if there were something negative about the business since they opened a while ago. Brought to you by same people who gave us My Elephant thai modernism in Sec17 and Aman Suria suburbs, instead of the usual mall / restaurants stereotype restaurants. The deco is the similar minimalism and modern style. Love the bulbs here. Just looking at the menu or the tablet menu with pictures, I wanted to try everything in one go. Some of the items reminded me of the Tamarind Hill offerings with salmon and western fish thrown into dishes. We 2 adults and 2 children had KomPassion Whole Baked Snapper with Thai Salsa & Special Grilled Chilli Dip; Double cooked pork belly with soft shell crab; Stir-fried Kailan; brown and white rice; Thai Tako; Icecream with Jackfruit & Red Rubies and refreshing refillable Japanese green tea with lemongrass. Total cost was RM200+. Overall, awesome. I will be back for the rest of the menu.

“Rich flavours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Visited Kompassion twice since it opened. Although the prices may be steeper than their sister establishment, My Elephant, it was enjoyable and rich in flavour.

Thoroughly pleased with the meal, the wait staff are very friendly, and they play you a birthday song if you're celebrating your birthday
