“Hidden, found and amazed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Cristao Cafe & Grill has a great atmosphere to begin with. I love the interior, colors and artwork, it gives you a warm and welcome feeling. The food was great and a good alternative if you don't feel like eating Nasi Goreng again. Overall good service, nice staff and good food!

“A nice break from Malay food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

I was looking for something other than local Malay food and stumbled upon this place by chance. Food was nice, good atmosphere, very friendly service. Price is very fair, too. They have wifi that can be used by patrons. When I was there they were repainting the wall with drawings to give it a cooler look. Definitely recommended for the burgers!

“A pleasant surprise.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

The food here was fantastic. They had great music playing in the background and the two women working were very warmly. The Portuguese flavours they have going on are to die for!

“A refreshing change in Kk!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

We were in Kk for 3 months before stumbling upon this cafe tucked in the corner of a big square of restaurants and we were so excited when we did! Being vegetarian in Asia often means your choices are a little limited but the staff here offered to modify a delicious Portuguese/Malaysian style fried rice to suit me, and my partner absolutely drooled over the mushroom burger. Most mains come with a side of sweet potato chips which were so yummy i'd buy them by the bag if they sold them! Our friends various meat options looked fresh and smelled great, and I was surprised to really enjoy the Guiness Choc Brownie with ice cream! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the vibe of the place was great, I will definitely be back here! :)

“Desert Heaven!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

If you love deserts as much as we do then you're in the right place..sinfully yummy!. we had the Guinness Chocolate Brownies which is our personal favourite and the Snickers Cheesecake. The food served here is equally good as well, My wife loved the the ribs while i had the beer braised beef bacon burger which was just da bomb. There are plenty of other dishes available apart from the ones we had, all heavily influenced by the Malaysian Portuguese heritage.
