“Good choice for Location and Budget”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good experience over all. The hotel provides complimentary airport pick up and drop off.which is a big help. The shuttle is new and the driver is very friendly.

Even the receptionist were very friendly. Upon arriving, were not able to change our dollars at the airport but she was gracious enough to lend us Ringgit just so we could eat lunch for the meantime.

The hotel aside from its accessibility to the airport is also a just a ride away going to the city. We only spend RM1. Very cheap.

The room is just fine. It is not big yet it is clean. The bathroom is quite spacious and the heater is working. Though their switches are bit confusing as the aircon and heater switch is side by side with no label.

The hotel also is situated in a quiet area near Tanjung Aru. There are convenience stores just few walks away.

Overall, it is a good budget hotel. No hassle specially for those who will just literally sleep and be gone for the whole day.

The room we had was supposed to be a family room but it was very small with very little space to move about. It was also extremely warm in the room, although the air-conditioner was working, it struggled to bring the temperature down and though it was set to the lowest setting all night, the room remained very warm.

When first getting into the room, it felt like entering a hot car, possibly from the design of the building and the sun heating up the walls? Whatever it is, it wasn't comfortable but at least it was bearable, but only for a night. It's one saving grace is the large and spacious bathroom. Can't help but feel too much space is wasted in the bath, could devote more space for the room itself. Morning staff friendly, evening staff, meh.

Free parking in the evenings next to the hotel. Convenience stores nearby and a supermarket not far away.

It is close to Terminal 2 of the airport so If you have a flight to catch (Air Asia which uses Terminal 2) early in the morning, this is an okay choice. Just be sure to insist on a room which isn't facing the afternoon sun.

Room Tip: Do not get a room facing the afternoon sun.

On arrival from the airport the friendly hotel staff was waiting to transport us to the hotel.
The hotel is located outside the city but within walking distance from the beach (20 min.) and some nice restaurants). The rooms are very modern and clean, one of the best we ended up in our stay in Malaysia. The rooms are small and have no balcony. They are cleaned often.
Staff is friendly, polite and helpfull. It''s very easy to take a cab to the centre and takes about 15 minutes and is not expensive, please only use taxi''s who turn their meter on!!!!
Tourist who use taxis who refuse are spoiling it for the rest! It''s illegal, just take another one, walk a few meters and try again. For just a couple of euro''s a day you have your transport.
Breakfast can be found at the back of the hotel, really good and cheap. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Overall this was a very reasonable, no-frills hotel. We were picked up from the airport as a complimentary service - this always makes life easier (it would be a bit too far to walk with heavy baggage)! Make sure you ask for this when booking - there is no email address to contact the hotel and request this later (there is a phone number but our UK sims are very temperamental about making calls). Our greeting on arrival at the hotel could have been warmer but we had no problems as such. Room is basic but clean with the standard 'wetroom' bathroom. The Wifi was reasonable, if a little slow. We only stayed one night but the area is quiet and feels safe with a few restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel. Free airport drop off and pick up. 2-3 mins drive from KK Terminal 2 (Air Asia). We made a last minute booking over the phone, and were able to get a nice aircon room. Room and bathroom was clean. Friendly staff. Good food courts nearby.

We stayed 3 nights here. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Bacis amenities provided such as water heater, towels, drinking water and most importantly the Wifi is working well in the ROOM. 30mins walk to the famous Tanjung Aru beach and 10mins drive to Terminal2 (free shuttle from the hotel) . There are a lot of local restaurants around the hotel.
